Today there is a new challenge over at Saturated Canary - good for getting last minute Christmas cards done! It is a photo inspiration so pop over and take a look.
I haven't made a card this time! I've actually made a table centre piece using the AMAZING chipboard sleigh from Make it Crafty. How nifty is it! I've laid it atop some pulled apart cotton balls and the trees in the background I picked up for a bargain $7 from target :)
The trim on the sleigh is a piece of the Make it Crafty chipboard snowflake border. I have cut up some sonwflake trim from Live and Love crafts and adhered it with some pearls for decoration. I used loose glitter on the blades and traced some pion design paper on the actual sleigh.
I dipped the reindeer is some fluffy sparkly stuff that I got off the lovely Irina Blount :) Can't remember what it is called but it gives a lovely texture like snow! :) The antlers are dipped in loose glitter.
The stamp is Candy Canes by Saturated Canary. Here are the copic colours that I used:
Skin: E000, E00, E21, E11, R11
Hair: Y21, YR23, E33
Dark Blue Outfit: B93, B95, B97, B99
Light Blue Outfit: BG000, BG01, BG05, BG09
Sack: E11, E13, E15, E18
Hope you all enjoy my last Christmas project of the year! Thank you so much for stopping by and I wish you all a very Merry Christmas / Happy Holidays! :D xx

Great job Alyce! I like the glitter on the reindeer antlers :)
ReplyDeleteWinter Wonderland in it's true sense. I suppose you need something like this for Christmas to make up for the lack of snow down under...right?! :-) Beautiful colouring...you do them all colours so well, but now that I'm visiting on a regular basis I'm starting to favour certain colours you do...like blue and green and purple, they always look amazing. Not that the other ones are badly coloured or anything, but the colours I just mentioned are even more amazing than your usual amazing...makes sense? No, didn't think so either. Anyway, I'll stop whaffling now, just stopped by to wish you a Merry Christmas. Have fun opening your prezzies and I'm so proud of you that you managed to stay away from the emergency kit, because you didn't give in the last couple of days, did ya?
ReplyDeleteBig hug,
Sandy
