Patches the Fairy + September Classes!!!

Hi everyone! Woohooo time to announce the September classes that are coming up! If you live in Australia, we are having a Nature Technique Workshop on the 7th of September, where we will look at grass, sky, clouds, wood, flowers, etc., and we will also be doing two project classes this month.
We will also be repeating the Pleats workshop for those who missed it last month; please note on the Arnolds newsletter it says Beginners Pleats; these are not for beginners!! :)

As always, there will be material kits available for the project classes, and also instruction kits with the print instructions and video tutorial so that you can just use your own materials :) More information on the Classes and Kits page, or email me at olavana@hotmail.com :)
Here is my project which I will be teaching on the 14th of September, using a standalone wood kaisercraft butterfly and the adorable Patches the Fairy by Saturated Canary.
I did a really fun technique on the wings to get the butterfly a feathery type look. Can't wait for you to play along! :) Here are the copic colours that I used:
Skin: E000, E00, E21, E11, E04, R20
Hair: Y21, E53, E43, E57
Outfit: Purple RV91, RV93, RV95, RV99 Green G21, G92, G99

The butterfly stands by itself too so you can use it as a decoration :)

ReplyDeletecute ^^ Now there you have a great way of using left overs, the technique you have used here! is the shape cut out with cameo? You might have written it, but I tend to skip the text :O
ReplyDeleteNow that's a highly unusual shape, but very gorgeous. So pretty with the paper pieces. Speaking of pretty....the fairy has such an adorable face. I don't think I'd dare that hair though, but you did as always an incredible job. Hugz, Sandy
