Birthday Love and Wishes: M4M Blog Hop!

Hi everyone! As you might know, Mad for Markers is having their two year blog hop today! If you have come here from Chris' blog then you are on the right track...otherwise, head over to Mad for Markers to start the hop! For my birthday card, I have used the gorgeous Cupid Mae from Some Odd Girl and created a Birthday Love theme. Can you believe this is my first SOG card? :O I know! I think I have fallen in love with these :) I have adapted the layout from the challenge over at Some Odd Girl this month.

The papers that I have used are from the Authentique Gathering range. I got these for my birthday and I LOVE them! They are such great quality and the designs are yummy. I paired these with some beautiful flowers from Wild Orchid and Prima, some Kaisercraft rhinestones, and a lattice kraft border.


I cut the ovals out with my BRAND NEW birthday die cutter :) And inked the middle oval with Tim Holtz Distress Ink Antique Linen. I coloured Mae using copic markers and here are the colours that I used:

Skin: E50, E00, E53, E11
Hair: E21, E25, E29, E15
Dress/Hearts - Blue: B00, B02, B12
Hearts - Orange: YR00, YR02
