Lavender
Saturday, May 12, 2012Hi everyone! It is new release week over at Little Miss Muffet and let me tell you there are some cuties! :D Some of your faves have even dressed up as characters...so pop on over and take a peek :)
Today I have used Lavender...isn't she so cute! I have used some different papers/colours from my usual and I like it...but I must admit it took me awhile before I was happy ;)
You can't really see it...but I have used some really cool aqua metal mesh stuff in the background, and some aqua pearls around the border. I used some corrugated cardboard which I lightly rubbed with my Distress Ink - Vintage Photo to give the bumps more definition. The ribbon I made using seam binding which I roughly inked with Frayed Burlap, then sprayed with water and wound into a little ball to dry.
Ok I have to dedicate the colouring to Colleen from Craft A Lot who challenged me to do grey hair! I actually really like it...the colours aren't ones that I normally do but they go so well together.
Here are the copic colours that I used:
Skin: E000, E00, E11, R11
Hair: W3, W5, W7
Dress: Purple V00, V01, V04, V06, V09 Aqua BG000, BG72, BG09
Don't forget there is still time to enter this week's Flowers Challenge - you can use any image you like so can't wait to see you all playing along! :D
Challenges that I am entering with this card:
Delicious Doodles - Try Something New (An all new colour combo/papers for me! :)
