Hi everyone! How exciting - today we have a suprise blog hop for you over at Make it Crafty! We are celebrating a new artist joining the ranks...the very talented Marina! There is a brand new Under the Sea collection in the store too so pop on over and check them out :D You won't be disappointed!

Ok now onto my card! I have used one of the gorgeous premade scenes - Underwater Melody. These are great if you, like me, are a little lazy and just want an image to colour up! lol! How beautiful is she! I absolutely love her stunning hair and that tail! Sooo much fun to colour up :)
I have added a whole heap of layers and embellies to this one! I have used some gorgeous Webster pages, some Wild Orchid and Prima Flowers, some rose ribbon, and some cheesecloth. I have also used a string of pearls around the image - I love this effect! :)
I have coloured up Melody using my copic markers. For her tail, I have used a stippling effect, where you use the tip of your marker to create a little dot. Where the shadows are, I make the dots closer together and then gradually fade out. Here are the colours that I used:
Skin: E000, E00, E11, R11
Hair: E33, E35, E37
Tail: Y000, Y11, Y15, Y17, YR02, YR07
Sand: E40, E41, E50, E33
Green Coral/Seaweed: YG03, YG63, YG67
Pink Coral: R81, R85
Yellow Coral: Y00, Y11, Y15
