Another cute amigurumi to share with you all! This one is from a custom pattern that the lovely K and J Dolls helped me to create! This was for a friend's sailor themed birthday - very cute!


The hair was done using a hook and loop method. Basically, you cut your yarn into equal length strips for the hair, and then, starting half way up the head, you hook the yarn through the crochet needle as you do a basic stitch. Nice and easy and gives a great effect. I have used half an 8 ply strand which may be a bit thick though - I used a lot of hairspray to stick it flat! hehe :)
