Anya Garland
Tuesday, January 10, 2012I just received my new Miss Anya Garland stamps from the Greeting Farm today!! I have been waiting anxiously for them to arrive - they are so gorgeous and perfect for Valentine's Day coming up! This was my first order from Mad for Markers and I am most impressed - thanks so much Sammi :)
I am entering my card into the TGF Farm Fresh Challenge. This week's challenge is to use pink, polka dots, and ribbon!
The paper's I have used are from the new My Mind's Eye 'Love Me' 6x6 inch paper pad. I love their papers; they always have funky patterns and it's great that they are double sided. To create the distressed effect to the edges of the paper I simply use my nail to fold the edge back and forward. If you do this with a little force you get the lovely crumpled look seen in the picture below.
I also used liquid pearls to create a subtle feature on the cardstock. These give a really nice effect and you can control the output really easily to do outlines and features.
I coloured my image with my trusty Copics. These new stamps were really fun to colour!
Other challenges that I am entering this week are:
