Hello hello! It feels like it has been forever since I last posted!!! (well 4 days...haha!!!) The move is going well....moved most of the little stuff with big stuff being moved on Saturday. Can you believe that we painted the whole house in one day?? :O One very long 13 hour day mind you but it is done! It looks so pretty too....a very soft dusty grey :)

I am stopping by to share my latest Saturated Canary card with you for the new challenge this week of Shaped Cards! This card is special...I have made it for a lovely lady at work named Takako. It is her birthday this weekend but she has also resigned at the same time! Hopefully she can remember me with this card :)

I have used the brand new freebie over at Saturated Canary named Rose Red....wow isn't she pretty!!! My kind of image! ;) I used all of my new goodies from Live and Love Crafts too - love love love!!! I could just stare at all of the beautiful things in this package forever :)

Hello! So are you all enjoying the new releases over at Kraftin Kimmie? I hope you have been hopping along as you have the chance to win some stamps from the new release! We have a super duper fun one for you today...it is the new Annie Rodrigue release and it is beautiful! We are looking at dancers for this release and for my card I have used one of the most amazing images; Fernanda Flamenco. Look at that dress!!!

I had to cut the bottom of her dress off to fit the circle and I was a little sad to do so :( hehe. Isn't she fantastic though! Here are the copic colours that I used:

Hi everyone! I have a fun project to share today! I have asked to be a Guest Designer over at Anything But A Card as I won one of their challenges :) A little while ago we were chatting in the Make it Crafty group about different shadow box shapes and Zoe created this amazing Circle Shadow Box. Naughty me - it has been sitting there for a little while so I thought it would be a good opportunity to pull it out and play!

I thought a fun way to decorate the box would be to use one of the Make it Crafty scenes to take up the interior. I used Hollywood Sidewalk and paired it with a Simply Betty image called Lady Lola; you might remember Simply Betty and Make it Crafty did a collaborative Hollywood release earlier in the year.

To create the shadow box, first I painted all of the chipboard white to give it a nice soft look, and then I traced the outer frame onto some DP. I then cut it out, distressed and painted the edges so it wasn't perfect and stuck it on top of the chipboard frame. Distressing the edges just allowed me to be a little more rough in the sizing as I didn't want it to look 100% fitted, but rather more of that shabby chic look. To be honest, I'm not 100% sold ont he red in the picture...but hey it's Hollywood right? ;)

Hello hello! Guess what!!! It's moving day for me!!! :D :D I am scheduling the next few posts just in case I can't get to the computer...it will save me from being the usual late anyway..like this card today oh no! Also I am so sorry if I have not popped around to your blog yet...I am on my way promise! :D

I have a fun spooky card to share with you today!! The challenge this week over at Tiddlyinks is Halloween. There are some truly fabulous halloween images over at TI so I hope to see you playing along! For my card I have used Alison; isn't she cool!!

I really like how her hair turned out. I used just my normal combo for colouring orange and it is nice and vibrant :) Here are the colours that I used:

Lexi's Winter Fun

Hi everyone!!! It's time for a new release over at Kraftin Kimmie and we are getting christmas-y today! :) Today's release is for the super duper cute new characters, Lexi and Lucas by Cheryl Alger. I have used Lexi on my card :)

Don't you love those little snowflakes? It is actually a length of trim from Live and Love Crafts that I cut up individually and added pearls to the centre :) Here are the copic colours that I used:
