Join us for an amazing weekend away packed full of crafting, colouring, and fun! A great chance to escape the daily grind to get together with like minded crafters and create some new friends :)

Well worth the trip up to sunny Queensland... we will be crafting in a beautiful space for a destination weekend away. Our class conference room is a separate building in the rainforest facility,boasting an open brick fireplace, private double verandahs, and overlooks Cedar Creek.

Dew Drop Fairy + Australian Craft Retreat!

Hi everyone! Just popping in to share my design team project for the new facebook challenge over at Saturated Canary. I've used Dew Drop Fairy for this piece :)

To colour her up I've used copics for the girl and watercolours for the background. Here are the copic colours that I used:

Skin: E000, E00, E21, E11, E04, R20

Hair: BV00, Y11, BV13, BV08, 100
Outfit: BG10, BG53, BG57, BG75, BG78, 100
Leaf: YG03, G05, G17, G29, BG99
Wings: Y11, BV11, BV13, BG75, BG78, W9

On to some other exciting news... this weekend we will be announcing our first Australian colouring and craft retreat!!! :D I'm so excited!!! Dates will be March 21-22. Keep your eyes peeled for this one.. it's going to so much fun. Also, I am working on dates for the US reunion for June/July this year so get saving your pennies ;)

Calla Lily Sprite

Hi everyone! Just popping in today with my design team project for the Aurora Wings challenge using Calla Lily Sprite. The theme is Valentine's and I thought this image would be perfect. The Calla Lily symbolises great beauty and I thought it would be a great project for a lovely hubby to give ;)

I've coloured this with my Prismacolor Pencils, just layering and blending the pencils with no solution or blender. I'm so excited for our Pencils class coming soon over at Kit and Clowder!! We will be going over a lot of these techniques there :)

Here are the colours that I used:

Skin: Eggshell, Light Peach, Peach, Clay Rose, Burnt Ochre, Terracotta, Dark Brown

Hair: Goldenrod, Pumpkin Clay, Burnt Ochre, Terracotta

Lilies: Yellow Chartreuse, Chartreuse, Lime Peel, Apple Green, Dark Green

I am selling this project over in the store aswell if you would like her for your art room ^_^ She took about 5 hours to colour up. (price includes shipping)

Valentine Anya

Hi everyone! I'm here today to share my latest project for The Greeting Farm's FFF Challenge... this week we are doing Die-Alicious! I've coloured up Valentine Anya and ooohhhh getting ready for the Kit and Clowder Pencils Class using my Prismacolors!

Ok So no filters on here.. I've blended the pencils ONLY using pencil to get everything nice and smooth. Took a few hours ;)

Skin: Dark Brown, Terracotta, Clay Rose, Burnt Ochre, Peach, Light Peach, Eggshell, White

Hair: Dark Umber, Sepia, Tuscan Red, Chocolate, Ginger root

Dress: Indigo Blue, Periwinkle, Cloud Blue, White

Heart: Henna, Clay Rose, Pink, Pink Rose, White

Paper: Canson Mi Tientes - I used the reverse side with less grain

Canary Love

Hi everyone! I'm popping by with my card for Live and Love Crafts this week! I'm not a big Christmas card maker but the theme is Christmas Leftovers... so I was thinking how to best do this card hehe! My Christmas Leftover is I actually took the name of the Maja Designs Christmas Collection - A Gift For You and turned it into a sentiment! Hehehe sneaky!! Here is my card using Saturated Canary's Canary Love available as a rubber stamp at Little Darlings.

Here are the Copic colours that I used for my colouring:

Hair: E21, E25, E59, E49

Blue Outfit: B32, B34, B39, B99

Hi everyone!! Happy New Year!! Firstly I just wanted to say a big thank you for all of your support during 2014... what an amazing year it has been at Kit and Clowder!!! I am so thankful for all of you and it has been such a fun journey... I'm so exciting for 2015... I have so many fun crafty things planned for us!!! ^_^
