Hi everyone! I have something exciting to share with you today. I have been asked to be a guest designer over at Redonkulous Designs! :D Have you seen their digis before? If not I highly recommend it....I really love the style and detail plus they are a heap of fun to colour up :)

Hi everyone! Yeeeaaah I'm back! Well I haven't really gone anywhere and I still have been busily creating but I just haven't had to do many posts lately :D But I have a full on week ahead starting with the brand new Saturated Canary Challenge! Woohoo! The theme this fortnight is Spots and I have used the super cutie Bubbles.

Isn't she a pretty lady! Love her pleats and hair and she looks so whimsical. I thought her bubbles were kind of like dots too so that is why I picked her :)

Ok back to it! Super duper exciting news today! There is a fun hop that I KNOW you will just want to join in...a collaboration between the talented Zoe from Make it Crafty and Krista from Saturated Canary!! Here are a few deets on the hop:

Zoe's excited to be releasing another colouring tutorial and it is on a topic that everyone always seems to want to improve... Colouring Hair!! And in particular this e-book is, 'Colouring long hair in fine detail!'

When Zoe was trying to decide on an image that would be perfect for this tutorial she just knew she had to contact the gorgeous Krista Smith from Saturated Canary. And... Excitingly Krista has illustrated and generously donated the perfect character exploding with big luscious hair full of layers and bumps! Just perfect for you to learn all of Zoe's little secrets to colouring finely detailed hair.

Ooooh and she is so pretty let me tell you! You will only be able to get this image through the ebook and you won't be disappointed let me tell you! This was the BEST tutorial I have done and just look at how this beauty colours up:

WOW WOW WOW!!! Pretty or what!!! :D I decided to colour her up with my favourite hair colours. Here are the copics that I used:

Hair: E21, E25, E29 (lots of layers just like the tutorial if you are trying to achieve the same results :)

I haven't made her into a card yet but stay tuned!!! I am working on it now :)

Hi everyone! It's my turn to host the challenge over at Crafts and Me this week and the theme is Autumn Colours. I would love it if you could pop over and enter - and don't forget you don't have to use a Crafts and Me image to play along :)

For my card this week I have used Casting Down Imaginations. Beautiful folds in her dress! I don't have ANY autumn papers so this was tricky for me! I am hagning out for my new paper pads to arrive...should be any day now!! :)

I have played along with the current sketch over at Live and Love Crafts...isn't it a beauty! Nice and layered...perfectly my style :) hehe. Here are the copic colours I used on her:

I have a question for all of you too...I was considering selling some of my cards as they are just piling up now lol! I have heard mixed reviews so would appreciate any advice :) I feel silly trying to sell my cards though - you all make such beautiful cards...why would you want mine? hehehe!! :D

Hi everyone! I wanted to share a little bit of Make it Crafty inspiration with you today. Have you seen Zoe's brand new tutorial on shading with a light source? It is super helpful and informative especially if you have never learnt art or the technical aspect of drawing like me! :)

The tutorial coincides with a brand new digi release...amazing 60s girls! Absolutely love their style and their outfits :) For my card I have used Crystal, who was also used in Zoe's tutorial.

I looove her hair! Wish my hair was like and that I could walk around in amazing long plaits every day hehe
