Hi everyone! I have something fun to share with you today. I know most of you played along with the recent blog hop for Zoe’s amazing new hair colouring tutorial and if you didn’t then you must check it out because you get this awesome exclusive image by Saturated Canary to colour up!

I coloured mine up for the hop but didn’t have time to make it into anything. I wanted to make her into something special so I tried my hand at one of the new chipboard Shadow Boxes! To be honest…I have kind of procrastinated on this for a little while as I was a big scaredy pants. But I am sooo happy with the result and it was so easy! I think I am going to have to make me another! :)

To make the shadow box, I first stained the whole thing in Distress Ink Walnut Stain so that the back and inside edges would be a dark brown. I then used the edges as a template and cut out pieces of paper to fit. Before I glued everything together, I made my layout on the back piece of chipboard so that I new it would fit. Once everything was glued into place, I added my embellies, some chipboard frames (stained with walnut distress inks to match) and voila! All done :D And you know I think it was actually quicker than making a card! hehe

As always, I have used my copics to colour her up. Here are the colours that I used:

Skin: E000, E00, E21, E11, R11

Hair: E21, E25, E29

Dress: R32, R35, R37
