Tilda Sending Love Letter + NEW VIDEO TUTORIAL

Cards Sunday, March 10, 2013

Hi everyone! Oooohhh I can breathe a sigh of relief. Di I get carried away with embellies on this one because I had to do TWO cas cards this week? Maybe :) But I did get a big beautiful parcel of goodies from Live and Love Crafts (Which I naughtily opened before my birthday ;) hehe!) so I had a lot of inspiration embellishment wise!

Today it is Magnolia Down Under's fourth birthday!!! So we are having a birthday themed challenge over on the blog :) I am so excited to be a part of this group. Everyone is just beyond talented - I still can't believe I get to make with them! Here is my card using Tilda Sending Love Letter.

Mmmm those timber hearts are my new favourite thing! I'll link to them in the bottom of the post. Sometimes I have questions on where did I get my items. Do you know if you click on the pictures below it will take you to them? :) And do you like the little envelope that I made? hehehe. Here are the copic colours that I used:

Skin: E000, E00, E21, E11, R11

Hair/Boots: E43, E44, E47, E49

Dress: BG000, BG01, BG05, BG09, E49

Red Accents: R32, R35, R37, E49

Cards Saturday, March 09, 2013

Hi everyone!! I am back with ANOTHER CAS card!!! Noooo!! heheheh! So now it's Kraftin Kimmie's turn to do this to me ;) I had so much fun colouring this image though - she has always been one of my faves. Here is Rose.

So technically that's CAS right? ;) Again, busy papers, busy colouring but in essence no flowers so that equals CAS for me! hehe! Here are the copic colours that I used:

Skin: E000, E00, E21, E11, R11

Hair: E21, E25, E29

Dress: YR000, YR02, YR07, R15, Y35, Y38

Roses: R59, R29, R22

Well to make up for all of the CAS this week tomorrow I will be back with an EXTRA embellished card hehehe!!! Hope you all have a great day!

Toasting Properly + CAS nooo!

Cards Thursday, March 07, 2013

Hi everyone! Oh my gosh. Ok so the challenge this week over at Tiddlyinks is CAS. WHAT? What is that word?? I don't think it exists in my vocabulary!! hehehe!!! And I kind of cheated ;) hehehe! I figured I could colour a real busy image but still few layers and that would be CAS...right???!!

It's pretty much CAS if you step way back from the computer. I mean..there are no flowers!! :O (and trust me I did try to put them on LOL!)

Here are the copic colours that I used:

Skin: E000, E00, E21, E11, R11

Hair: E21, E25, E29

Dress: B93, B95, B97, B99

Red Carpet: R22, R29, R46, R59, C5

Sky: Y35, Y38, YR14, YR18

Clouds: C0, C2, C3, B60, E93

Hope you all like her! And I will be back later this...with another CAS card!!! Whaaaat? What are they doing to me?!?! hehe! :D Thanks for stopping by xx

I know some people think she is a little wonky (which way is she holding the heart??) but I think she is adorable :)

I've followed the sketch again to this month's CLP Sketch Challenge. Hair: E71, E77, E79

Little Mermaid Friends

Cards Friday, March 01, 2013

Hi everyone! Hope you are all doing well today :) Oh what a week!! I have started a new job - very scary but fun :) And then on top of that I found out today that I have won the Queen of Copic Competition with Copic Marker Australia!! OH MY GOSH!! :D I am just so excited :D

Today I am sharing with you a special card. I have combined this month's sketch challenge over at CLP with the Lili of the Valley Birthday Card Challenge :) I truly hope you like it!

I let Jon help me pick the colours for the tails. Not sure if they pop as much but I sort of like how it is all pretty blues :) Ohhh and see those beautiful doilies layered underneath? My gorgeous friend Samantha sent them through - thanks so much hun!! :D And the ribbon from my lovely Chelsea (spoilt huh!! :) Here are the copic colours that I used:

Skin: E000, E00, E21, E11, R11

Hair: Y21, YR23, E35, E18

Tail: Blue B12, B18, B24, B29 Purple V01, V04, V06, V09

Starfish: Y11, Y15, Y17, E15

Background: BG000, B12, B14, B18, BG13, BG49, Blender (a big mix - took a long time to colour!!)

Tip: After doing the background, I have randomly held down my blender over certain spots to make a dot. These are all of the little bubbles you can see in the picture. I think this adds a great texture in real life :)

Well hope you like it and thank you so muh for stopping by :) And please let me know if you are a new follower and pop in your blog address in the comments so I can hop around to you too :)
