Hi everyone! I'm here today with my project for The Greeting Farm and it's our brand new release this week! Come and join in for a fun blog hop for your chance to win some prizes! :D I'm featuring the brand new stamp Starfish Anya today. I love those chipboard pieces peeking out too from Southern Ridge Trading Co.

Playing with lots of Mixed Media techniques on this one! Are you all excited to learn a little bit more about this? Stay turned at the Kit and Clowder class website.... ;) I've used some of the new Kaisercraft Mists on my project aswell in Denim, Turquoise, and Peach.
Here are the pencils I used to colour up this cutie:
Skin: White, Eggshell, Light Peach, Peach, Clay Rose, Burnt Ochre, Dark Brown
Hair: Sand, Light Umber
Outfit: White, Deco Pink, Pink Rose, Raspberry
Blue: Powder Blue, Blue Lake, Indigo Blue
I used Arches Cold Press Paper

ReplyDeleteIt says "Rosie" y'all, on the blog post. To my untrained but spent the last 3 months studying colored pencil supplies and techniques on You Tube and blog posts, I'm guessing you used the Prismacolor White for lots of blending, and a mixture of the Polychromos and Prismacolors for the rest (did I get that right?) There are little tell tale signs of oil vs. wax based pencils in there, but whatever you used, OMG, I had no idea you had classes for this!!! Prismacolors are pretty easy to figure out on your own but not for portrait coloring like this with the skin and hair!!!!!!! Polychromos have just left me incredibly baffled, they look gorgeous but a H-U-G-E learning curve! I'll be signing up for sure, you have no idea how excited I am to find out about the class!!!!! I finally printed out my Copic hair and skin booklets and have an easel all set up to start practing. I was so bummed I didn't know about your Anaheim class until you were on your way, I live about 1 hour south of their. I hope you guys had a blast.
